While walking the dog out, tell the dog how brave, strong, courageous, etc.,
etc., the dog is. Be proud of yourselves.


Dog barks and/or lunges toward sheep. Dog is in an Upbeat/Bold state.
Acknowledge and appreciate this mood but continue walking towards crate.
Don't stop and let the dog go into a total Bold action state.


Sit and talk to your dog before crating. Let the dog settle
into the yellow circle before leaving him/her.
