Sadie-9 Months
This is Sadie (Sherick's Flatwater Sadie). She was my first "show dog". She did ok in the show ring as she was very balanced and had a beautiful gait. She was solid as a rock. But she was small and didn't have enough "type" to really do well. That was ok by her as her real love was trailing. She would find anything, just for the thrill of the chase. Unfortunately, she was able to find a way out of what I thought was a secure fence and went directly for the highway. She was 3 years old when she died and I'll never forget her. She taught me a lot about the special talents of this breed.
