Dian Quist-Sulek and Kevin

This is Kevin the Otterhound. He lives outside of Palmyra, Nebraska with his feeders Steve and Dian Quist-Sulek and his Otterhound sister and brother Pati and Tommy, his cat friend Monkey and his pot bellied pig Molly. Kevin is 11 years old and he and Pride have been friends since she was a pup. I went to my first dog show with Kevin and Dian. Back when I wore glasses all the time Kevin used to love it when I would come over. He would act as though I wasn't even there until he knew I wasn't paying attention then leap up and slime both lenses. Dian and Kevin and Sadie and I used to practice tracking and trailing together quite a lot. He works at a nice slow pace (he has his TD) and Sadie--in fact all my dogs--work at a rabbit's pace. Kevin's been combed up for this photo--usually you can't find his eyes, but you can always tell which end is which because he has quite a large tongue and he's a panter.
