Shea with Pride

Shea is 13 years old as of this writing. She came to me by way of the local Humane Society. She was turned in to the shelter along with 7 littermates. She was the only red puppy among them, the rest being black and white. She also must have felt a little out of place with her siblings as she was always plastered against the back corner and never really played with the rest of them. Her brothers and sisters all went to new homes quickly leaving this shy little girl alone. I took her home and she immediately decided she was where she was meant to be. She was always too smart for a fence in her younger days but she never went anywhere when she escaped. She has reluctantly accepted all the Bloodhounds, but I know she would have rather not had to deal with them. Aside from the fact that she's impossible to confine--Shea has been an upstanding citizen in the Flatwater household.
