2007 CWA NATIONAL
CATALOG
Jennifer Smith is in charge of preparing the National Catalog. The catalog will include all pre-entered fun match and race meet entrants. Advertising Deadline is August 25, 2007 . Advertising Rates - $20.00 for full page, $10.00 for half page. Legends (age 7 and up) - $5.00 for full page plus race entry. Send picture and bio to Jenn Smith (address below).
Please email your ads in either jpg or MS Word files to lanruvi@hotmail.com or you can snail mail pictures/text to: Jennifer Smith , 2712 Burrell, Milwaukee , WI 53207 .
Please make sure to make copies of any irreplaceable photos or know where the negatives are BEFORE you snail mail. Get permission from and give credit to the photographers of your pictures. Please do NOT send any money to Jenn, only ad material. Submit payment to Doug Arthur on Master Order Form.
RAFFLE
Lisa Ochoa and Patience Renzulli are Co-Chairs of the raffle. Lisa can be contacted at lmochoa@uiuc.edu and Patience at dogwalkers@comcast.net. Please let them know what you will be bringing. If you prefer to donate cash so we can purchase wonderful and desirable items it is most welcome also. Please note cash donation on the Master Order Form. We hope to have a separate merchandise raffle on both Friday and Saturday. Sunday there will be a 50/50 raffle to be drawn after the 4 th race program. What is a 50/50 raffle you ask? The raffle winner receives 50% of the money collected in ticket sales that day. Plan to buy lots of raffle tickets to support the CWA National.
Please bring any and all types of useful and outstanding items to donate to the raffle.
FUN MATCH
Gail Wegner is Fun Match Chair . The Annual CWA Fun Match will be Friday, August 31, 2007. Whippet breeder Mary Magee will be judging. Entry fee is $5.00 ($12 if received after Saturday, August 25, 2007) Fun Match judging begins at 2:00 pm with entries closing at 1:30pm
EXTRA EVENT
Exceptional animal photographer Laurie Erickson will be offering studio photo sessions on Friday, August 31, 2007. Cost is $30 for a mini-sitting of up to 2 dogs which include six (6) 4x6 proofs. Extra dogs after 2 would be $5.00 each and extra proofs can be purchased for $1.50 each. If you would like a fun match or race meet win photo taken by Laurie the cost will be $15 for one 8x10, $10 for one 5x7 and $4.00 for one 4x6. T-shirts and polo shirts are available for pre-order at a reduced price. There will be a very limited number t-shirts at the race meet for sale. Cost will be $3 higher for trackside sales.
