Lexi~

Lexi came to us very shy, very sweet and very nervous.  After a few weeks in foster care this timid gray girl learned to play with the big dogs without fear.  Relaxed and happy in her foster home, Lexi blossomed.

In her new home,   Lexi reclines on the couch with her  afghan hound companion, and their chow cousin.

Sir Galahad

                              Rainbow Bridge

Surrendered when his owners relocated, Galahad came to us anxious and afraid.  After a brief affair with a greyhound family, Galahad met the love of his life when he arrived at the home of AHRCO volunteer,  Debbie.  Unable to part with him after several months of foster care, Galahad was granted his wish when Debbie succumbed to his charms and signed his adoption papers.

A very happy Galahad now enjoys life with his 2 beautiful afghan hound girlfriends.

Abby ~

Abandoned in the parking lot of a local police station, Abby was blessed when arrested by the local dog-warden with a love for sighthounds.

Now known as Marin, she enjoys life as companion to Carole ruling several feline subjects.
